Ajuda é sempre bem vinda ! / Help is always welcome !

Hoje cheguei um pouco tarde ao estaleiro. Já se iam as 12:00h. Estava ajeitando as tralhas para começar quando o Guina me ligou perguntando até que horas eu ficaria. Falou que passaria lá mais tarde.

Comecei a lixar o casco por dentro. Depois por fora. Um trabalhão que, para quem quer fotos novas, não traz nenhuma novidade. Quando estava faltando lixar só a proa o Guina chegou e ai a coisa andou rápido.

Colocamos o barco de volta aos cavaletes facilmente. Sozinho sempre demoro com medo de tudo desabar. Terminei de lixar a proa e o Guina foi logo lixando o mastro, aquele que ganhei do vizinho Luis. O alumínio estava no tempo e bastante sujo.

Um ajudante é algo muito bem vindo. As tarefas ficam bem mais simples e o esforço bem menor.

Saldo do dia:

- Lixei o casco (interno e externo).
- Cortei algumas vigas para preparar a construção do suporte da bolina.
- Lixamos o mastro, a espicha de topo e a retranca.
- Trocamos algumas idéias sobre o  fechamento dos paióis.
- Desenhamos a vela na lona, tarefa que preferi adiantar com ajudante pois sozinho demora horrores. Agora é cortar e costurar.

Preferi a versão de vela de 70 pés quadrados que o Michalak recomenda para aproveitar melhor os ventos fracos. E há a opção de rizar a vela para o tamanho padrão do Piccup Pram. Por ter tomado esta decisão, a bolina também foi aumentada segundo a sugestão do próprio projetista. O projeto já traz estas alternativas praticamente prontas. Estou usando lonaleve, opção barata e eficiente.

Rendeu bastante. Valeu mesmo ! Agradecimentos especiais à Pô pela liberação do ajudante no sabadão.

Today I arrived a little late at the shop. Past 12:00h. I was organizing the junk to start when Guina called me asking how late I would be that day. He said he would come  later. So I started sanding the hull inside. Than outside. A lot of work that, for those who want new photos, brings no novelty. When sanding was missing only the bow Guina arrived and all started going fast. 

We put the boat back on easels easily. Alone it takes me forever, afraid of everything crashing down. I finished sanding the bow and Guina sanded the mast, that piece that was a gift from the neighbor Luis. Aluminum was left on weather and very dirty. A helper is very welcome. The tasks are much simpler and much less effort. Balance of the day:  

- Sanded the hull (internal and external). 

- I cut some beams to prepare the construction of the support of the leeboard. 

- Sanded the mast, the boom and sprit top. 

- We exchanged some ideas about the closing of lockers.  

- We drawn the sail on tarp, a task planned forward but which takes a lot of time alone. Now it'll be cut and sewed. I preferred the 70 square feet sail that Michalak recommends to go better in light winds. And there is the option of reefing the sail to the standard size. By taking this decision, the leeboard was also increased according to the designer's own suggestion. The plans already bring these alternatives. I'm using lonaleve (brazilian tarp), cheap and efficient option. Thanks a lot to Guina! And special thanks to Pô for releasing helper in saturday.
