Finalizei o lixamento do casco. Ainda serão necessários retoques com resina em alguns lugares. Não estava pensando em aplicar base para a tinta. Foi bom aplicar para ter noção de quais tipos de irregularidades ficarão visíveis.

Estética não é o forte deste barco. E como a produção é artesanal, não vejo necessidade de acabamento primoroso.

Instalei provisoriamente o que será o suporte do motor de popa. Opa, motor ?? Sim. Porque nem sempre a gente quer velejar. Por vezes a gente quer ir a lugares. E então é necessário um motor. Resolvi deixar pronto. Na melhor das hipóteses nunca será utilizado.

 Fiz outra lambança. Na tentativa de acelerar a fibragem da porta do leme, resolvi tentar uma técnica envelopando a peça com plástico e aplicando fibra nos dois lados. Resultado: ficou uma caca. O plástico deixou um acabamento tosco e tive que lixar tudo de novo. As peças ai embaixo só estão esperando pelas últimas aplicações de resina ou verniz.

I made another mess. In an attempt to speed up the fiberglassing of the rudder, decided to try a technique enveloping it with plastic bags and applying fiber on both sides. Result: blunder. The plastic left a rough finish and I had to sand it all over again. Parts in the picture below are just waiting for the latest applications of resin or varnish.
