Cola, cola, cola....e ainda tem muito para colar. / Glue, glue .... and still a lot to glue.

Ontem tive que corrigir a tentativa frustrada de laminar duas ripas que irão reforçar a parte superior do frame A. Tentei uni-las com parafusos, mas o gap entre elas ficou grande e a resina escorreu toda. Acabei tendo que lixar o epóxi depois de seco para só depois voltar a uma segunda tentativa. Um trabalho bem chato.

Resolvi comprar uns sargentos. Não....não é propina para militares. É aquele grampo que se utiliza para apertar as coisas umas contra as outras. Funciona que é uma beleza. Nome bem apropriado. Pena que é caro.

Resumindo o trabalho do dia, fixei todas as ripas superiores nos frames com cola e instalei também o reforço interno no espelho de popa que servirá para fixação do leme. Deixei secando. 2 horas no total praticamente preparando resina e colando tudo.

Como era tarde da noite quando terminei acabei não tirando fotos. Prometo para o próximo post.

Yesterday I had to fix a failed attempt to laminate two strips that will enhance the upper frame A. I tried to put them together with screws, but the gap between them was great and the resin flowed throughout. I ended up having to sand the epoxy when dry and only then return to a second attempt. A job well boring. 

Decided to buy some sergeants. No. ... not to bribe military. It's that clip that is used to tighten things up against each other. Works like a charm. Aptly named. Too bad it's expensive. Summing up the day job, I fixed all the slats in the upper frames with glue and also installed the internal reinforcement in the transom that will serve for setting the rudder. Let dry. 2 hours in total just preparing resin and pasting everything. As it was late at night when I finished I ended up not taking pictures. Promise for the next post.
